Brian Goeller Joins FNBT as SVP Chief Technology Officer

Beloit, WI – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce that Brian Goeller has joined the bank as Senior Vice President (SVP), Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Goeller comes to FNBT with 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he co-founded Coherence, a company that helped banks grow accounts and deposits through an enhanced HSA product. Prior to Coherence, he served as a member of the senior leadership committee at HSA Bank and Wausau Financial Systems. He earned an associate’s degree in marketing from Blackhawk Technical College. During his career, Goeller has built national-scale software as a service (SaaS) banking products, and has been responsible for the full technology stack at a national bank. As CTO at FNBT, Goeller will work with the leadership team to help accelerate the bank's strategic vision through enabling technologies, expand the digital banking footprint with an eye on the customer experience, as well as be a good steward of our customers' information.

Recognizing its importance, Goeller lives by what he calls the three-C's: Communicate, Communicate, Communicate – and he coaches his teams to do the same. Goeller currently resides in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin with his wife, Kelly. Together they have three adult children and a 13 year-old at home, along with two dogs, Eli & Fonzy. Active in the community, Goeller formerly served on the board of directors of the Waukesha Civic Theater as vice president. In his free time, he enjoys playing the drums, is an avid chess fan, and he is a self-proclaimed book and music collecting enthusiast. Goeller will be based at FNBT’s Operations Center in Beloit, Wisconsin.
