FNBT Announces Promotions in the Cash Management Department

Beloit, WI, April 4, 2024 First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce the following promotions within the Cash Management department.

Jessica-Hernandez-2023-LR.jpgJessica Hernandez has been promoted to First Vice President (FVP), Cash Management Manager. Jessica has over 20 years of banking experience and joined FNBT in 2015 as Branch Manager at FNBT’s Beloit-Madison Rd branch. Since then, she managed the Beloit-Grand Ave and the Beloit-Inman Parkway branches including the Rock County floating banker team. In June 2020, she transitioned to the Commercial Team as a Vice President, Cash Management Specialist, and was promoted to the department manager in 2022. Now, as FVP, Cash Management Manager, Jessica is responsible for overseeing the Cash Management team as well as analyzing commercial deposit relationships to identify cash management solutions that optimize the financial goals of clients to fuel business growth.

Jessica graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has earned several performance certificates, as well as Human Sigma 6 certification. Active in the community, Jessica sits on the board of directors for the Stateline Family YMCA, and volunteers for Beloit Meals on Wheels. Jessica resides in Poplar Grove, Illinois with her husband Pedro (Pete) and their two daughters.

Susan Starr has been promoted to Vice President (VP), Cash Management Officer. Susan joined FNBT in 2022 after relocating to our community from the metropolitan Denver, Colorado area. Susan has over 36 years of experience in the banking industry where she has held numerous roles in treasury / cash management, branch management, business development, and consumer and small business lending. Susan is a graduate of Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.

As VP, Cash Management Officer at FNBT, Susan is responsible for educating our customer family on the cash management solutions FNBT offers. Susan’s extensive industry experience allows her to work with business clients to provide solutions for their unique banking needs. Active in the community, Susan volunteers for Beloit Meals on Wheels. In her free time, Susan enjoys gardening, mushroom hunting, hiking, and exploring national parks. Susan resides in Roscoe, Illinois with her husband Kim.

Mallory-Nygren-2022-LR.jpgMallory Nygren has been promoted to Cash Management Officer. She started at FNBT in 2019 as a teller and has held various positions at the bank since then including customer support supervisor, training and development specialist, and most recently cash management specialist. Now, as a Cash Management Officer, Mallory is responsible for analyzing commercial client relationships and identifying potential cash management solutions to further help our customers grow their business. Her experience with the Business Connection team, combined with her previous work as a teller, uniquely positions her to provide insight for all her clients’ banking needs.
 
Mallory has completed many industry certifications including the Teller and Branch Manager Certificates offered through the American Bankers Association (ABA). In her free time, Mallory volunteers for Beloit Meals on Wheels and various events hosted by the Downtown Beloit Association. Mallory currently resides in Roscoe, Illinois.

Jessica, Susan, and Mallory are based at FNBT’s Beloit-Grand Ave bank location at 345 E Grand Ave in Beloit, Wisconsin.
