FNBT Announces Promotion & Addition to Mortgage Banking Team

Beloit, WI, May 4, 2020 – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce the following officer promotion and addition to the mortgage banking team.
Angie Baskin has been promoted Customer Support Manager and Officer. Baskin started at FNBT in December 2017 as the teller supervisor at the Beloit-Madison Road branch and moved to the customer support department in August 2019. Now with more than 15 years of banking experience, she works with all the business lines within the bank to assist customers, maintains and improves customer support operations by identifying and resolving issues, and explores new opportunities to accomplish various customer requests. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota and a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. In 2011 she received a Banking and Finance diploma from American Bankers Association (ABA) and has completed all ABA certificates offered through FNBT. In her free time, Baskin is involved with the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin (HSSW) and serves as secretary on the board of directors. Baskin has also volunteered with Junior Achievement since 2009.
Shelley Perry has joined the bank as a Residential Loan Originator serving the communities of Williams Bay and Elkhorn. In her new role, Perry will be responsible for providing Sound Advice to consumers seeking mortgage loans, building relationships in the community, and finding lending programs that best fit the individual needs of homebuyers. She started her career as a realtor in Beloit, Wisconsin, later becoming a loan originator. She has spent the last 14 years in the title industry managing a title company in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Perry is passionate about real estate and is anxious to help individuals finance the homes of their dreams through the lending aspect of the business again.
Currently a member of the Lakes Area Realtor Association, Perry has also served as president of the Oaks of Geneva East condominium association. She has been a member of the Geneva Lakes Women's Association, and Affiliate Director and member of Lakeland Builders Association. She has also volunteered her time with many organizations within Walworth County.
