Timeline Action Items

These enhancements will provide you with greater flexibility and control over your business finances:

  • Easy to build templates to make ACH and wire payments faster than ever
  • Modern and seamless fraud management solution to keep your accounts protected even on the go

Transition Process

The new Business Online and Mobile Banking experience at First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) will be available Monday, September 28. To help make sure you’ve covered all the bases to prepare for the Upgrade please review the Business Online Upgrade Quick Reference Guide that outlines important dates and information to ensure a smooth transition. 

Key Date Reminders

September 21

  • Online Bill Pay unavailable at 8:00 am

September 23

  • On or before 9/23, login to the current Business Online and modify any future-dated or recurring transactions with a settlement date of 9/26, 9/27, 9/28, or 9/29. Change the settlement date to 9/25 or 9/30 or after.

September 25

  • QuickBooks or Quicken Users - complete one final download from Business Online Banking

  • Mobile Banking App unavailable at 3:00 pm

  • Online Banking & Telephone Banking unavailable at 6:00 pm

September 26

  • All FNBT Branches closed to prepare for the upgrade

September 28

  • ACH & Wire Users - on or before 9/28, download and install the Symantec VIP digital token

  • Positive Pay & ACH Blocks & Filters Users – Login to the upgraded system before 11:00 CT to review exception items. Exceptions will default to “Return”. This default decision can be change to “Pay” before the 11:00 cut off time if you choose.

  • Remote Deposit Capture Users – to make deposits on the upgraded system, ensure your Digital Check TS240 scanner is installed.

  • Download the New Mobile Banking Apps

  • Online Bill Pay becomes available after 3:00 pm

  • Detailed Information Available

Communication about the transition began Monday, August 19, 2020, including information about how to prepare, timeline, and key action items.

Learning Period

Please take the time between August 19 - September 25 to review resources, videos, user guides, and training materials to give you and your team an idea of what the new system and features will look like when you login on Monday, September 28.

Transition Date

On Monday, September 28, 2020, you will be able to complete banking transactions in the new system, and your current business online banking access will no longer be available as of Friday, September 25 at 6pm.
 

First-Time Login


Mark your calendar for your transition date - Monday, September 28, 2020. Please pay close attention to the steps below so you are able to access your online banking services as soon as possible. 


Login

1. Log in to Business Online
Navigate to bankatfirstnational.com, select 'Business' and use your current Username. 

2. Client ID & Password
Enter your Company ID and temporary password. These will be sent to you via email.

3. Create a New Password
You will be prompted to create a new password according to the requirements shown:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • At least 1 upper case letter
  • At least 1 lower case letter
  • At least 1 number
  • At least 1 special character ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) ?

Security

4. Security Token / Fob
Good News! Our multi-factor authentication will be modernized to a digital soft token and will no longer be needed at initial login. The Symantec VIP digital soft token will be downloaded to your Mac, PC, or mobile device and will be needed to initiate and approve business payments, such as ACH and wire transactions.

After 9/25, your hard token / security fob will become obsolete. You may dispose of your token or drop it off to an FNBT location near you.


Action Items


To avoid disruption to your business online banking services, please pay close attention to the action items below. 

Download the Mobile App

The current app you use for business mobile banking will no longer be available after 3pm on Friday, September 25. You will need to download the upgraded mobile app from the App Store or Google Play on or after Monday, September, 28. 

Quicken & QuickBooks

Our Online Banking upgrade will require that you make changes to your QuickBooks or Quicken software, so please take action to ensure a smooth transition.

Account & Security Alerts

Alerts will not transfer over, you will need to setup alerts in the new system. To setup alerts in the new system follow these steps:
  • Within Online Banking click the gear icon, top right.
  • Select Alerts from the menu and choose your alert channel preference (email or text)
  • Enter preferred email or mobile phone number 
  • Choose and set up the alerts that fit your needs

ACH & Wire History

65 days of ACH history will transfer over to the upgraded system. Wire history will not transfer over to the new system. If you need access to Wire history, please download and save prior to September 25.

Automatic Transfers & Payments

Please review your automatic transfers and payments on September 28 for accuracy. 

Important Changes


There are a few important changes for you to be aware of regarding the business online banking services you use.

ACH & Wire Origination

Your ACH batches and Wire templates will be saved together in the same location in the upgraded system. Your recent batches and templates will be converted to the new system. Please review your batches and templates for accuracy prior to first time use.

Templates for your existing file imports will be transitioned to the upgraded system. Please review your templates for accuracy prior to first time use.

Remote Deposit & Scanners

Customers using our Remote Deposit Capture SmartSource scanners will receive brand new Digital Check TS240 scanners during the first part of September. Additional information and setup instructions will be included with your scanner. If you have not received a Digital Check TS240 scanner by mid-September, please contact your banker or call 888-255-2114.

System Enhancements


New and improved services to enhance your business online banking experience.

Mobile Functionality

Pay bills and approve ACH and/or wire transactions from the upgraded mobile app. 

Digital Soft Tokens

You will no longer need a hard token/security fob. Our multi-factor authentication will be modernized to digital soft tokens that can be downloaded to your MAC or PC or as an app on your phone.

Administrative Access/ Controls

The upgraded Business Online Banking system has enhanced administrative controls to make it easy to manage user access to your business online banking services. 
 

Fraud Management

Our new, robust fraud management system allows you to customize email or text notifications. This allows you to accept or reject suspicious ACH and check transactions in real-time, even before funds are removed from your account. Existing customers using our ACH Blocks & Filters and/or Positive Pay services will be automatically upgraded to our new Fraud Management system.
