Financial Literacy Champion Nomination
The Stateline area is full of people and organizations working hard to improve the financial literacy of people within our communities – after all, it is just good Sound Advice to understand money management, budgeting, saving, credit and goal setting.
First National Bank and Trust wants to reward a 2015 Financial Literacy Champion. Now in our second year of presenting this grant, the Financial Literacy Champion award will honor one hard-working individual and the organization or school where they work or volunteer to enhance financial literacy.
Criteria for nominations include dedication to improving financial literacy, outstanding role model in the community, demonstration of commitment to excellence, and innovative implementation of programs/efforts to improve financial literacy. Nominations will be accepted from Friday, April 17, 2015 through Sunday, May 3. Three individuals will be selected as finalists from all of the nominations received. Voting will be open to the public beginning on Monday, May 4 through First National Bank and Trust's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/FirstNationalBankAndTrust
The winner of the First National Bank and Trust Financial Literacy Champion award will receive $100 and the organization/non-profit they represent will receive a grant of $1000.
Nominate a Financial Literacy Champion today. The deadline for nominations is Sunday, May 3. Voting will begin on Monday, May 4 and the winner will be notified the week of May 18.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to nominate or win. Purchase does not improve odds of winning. Void where prohibited. Eligibility: The Financial Literacy Champion Award Nominator must complete and submit above form in its entirety before midnight on May 3, 2015 for their nomination to be considered for the Financial Literacy Champion Award. To be eligible a nominee must present proof of working with the non-profit organization listed by the nominator on the nomination form. Finalists will be selected and notified the week of May 4, 2015. Finalists will be listed on FNBT's Facebook page for voting by the community. Voting will take place from May 4 – May 18, 2015. Winner will be notified by mail and/or telephone the week of May 18, 2015. Award will be granted to non-profit organization that the winner works with, at an arranged presentation. Time and place to be agreed upon by the winner, nominator and First National Bank and Trust Company. Must be 18 or older to win. Employees of First National Bank and Trust Company are not eligible.
