Local Banker Presents at Wisconsin Financial Institutions Summit

Beloit, WI – An employee of First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) recently participated on a panel at the 2016 Financial Institution Strategic Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Lisa Zeimetz, vice president and compliance officer of FNBT, joined three other bank compliance and audit professional panelists to discuss various topics important to bank compliance and risk management processes including fair lending, oversight for compliance risk within the bank and the importance of tracking consumer complaints. Nearly 40 banks from Wisconsin and Illinois attended the summit, which was sponsored by RSM US LLP, a global network of independent audit, tax, and consulting firms.
Zeimetz joined FNBT in 2015. In her role, she manages the administration of compliance and risk management activities and procedures, to ensure that the bank remains in compliance with applicable procedures, laws and regulations. She also chairs the Bank’s Regulatory Compliance Committee and is responsible for administering the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program, in addition to assisting the Bank’s BSA Officer in carrying out their entity-wide BSA program.
