Stephanie Lawton Joins FNBT

Beloit, WI, May 17, 2018 – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce that Stephanie Lawton has joined the company as Assistant Vice President and Small Business Portfolio Manager.
Lawton comes to FNBT with 10 years of banking experience, most recently as a commercial portfolio manager at BMO Harris Bank in Madison, Wisconsin. In her new role at FNBT, Lawton will partner with the bank’s branch managers to provide Sound Advice, meet the lending needs of small businesses in our communities, and underwrite small business loan requests.
An avid learner, Lawton has completed several industry courses and seminars throughout her career. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English as well as a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with a minor in criminology and law studies from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.
Lawton’s past community involvement includes the United Way of Dane County’s Rosenberry Society, the young professionals group within the United Way. She has lived in Milwaukee, Chicago, and Madison, and recently moved back to her hometown of Janesville, Wisconsin. Lawton will be based at First National’s Rockton branch located at 300 E Main Street in Rockton, Illinois.
