Stateline Woman Wins $5,000
Release date: 1/25/2019
Beloit, WI, January 25, 2019 – First National Bank and Trust Company (FNBT) recently awarded Emily Davis of Rockford the $5,000 Grand Prize in their BaZing Sweepstakes. After receiving hundreds of entries, Davis was randomly selected as the winner of the $5,000 award.
FNBT launched the $5,000 giveaway as part of a campaign for the bank’s value checking account, one, powered by BaZing, which offers over 300,000 discounts at national, regional and local merchants. “Our goal was to have people activate their benefits and share their BaZing stories,” said Laura Pomerene, senior vice president and marketing director for FNBT. “We know our customers have a lot of choices when it comes to their financial needs. Our one account truly adds value beyond typical banking benefits. Cell phone insurance, shopping coupons, and roadside assistance are just a few of the added extras included with our account.”
Davis received her award from bank president, David McCoy, and branch manager, Amy Snyder, at a check presentation on Monday, January 21 at FNBT’s bank branch located at 2600 Cranston Rd in Beloit, Wisconsin. A junior at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Davis plans to use the money toward college expenses as she works toward a degree in education.
