Michael Montgomery Joins FNBT

Beloit, WI – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce that Michael Montgomery has joined the company as Information Technology Supervisor and Officer.

In this role, he will oversee the daily functions of FNBT’s Information Technology (IT) Department and provide training and coaching to IT team members. He is also responsible for the bank’s network security, data backup and recovery systems, along with providing leadership, guidance and direction in all areas of bank technology.

With 10 years of banking experience, Montgomery holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking and earned an executive leadership certificate from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Recently, he participated in the Rockford Leadership Alliance program through the Rockford Chamber of Commerce.

Montgomery resides in Rockford, IL with his wife, Karin and their two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time his family, golfing, and bowling. Montgomery will be based at FNBT’s Beloit-Operations Center location.
