First National Bank and Trust Plaza Re-Opens in Beloit
Release date: 7/22/2015
Beloit, WI - First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce that construction work is complete on the FNBT Plaza on Grand Avenue in Beloit. The park has been rebuilt into a more user-friendly setting for Fridays in the Park and other community events.
Patrons will now enjoy a freshly landscaped space, which allows for more seating during the popular weekly events. A new canvas canopy will provide shade during the warm summer months. The newly landscaped park features a curved pergola for the bands as well as new benches. FNBT worked with Klobucar Construction Company, Inc. and Angus Young and Associates on the project. Fridays in the Park will be moved back to the FNBT Plaza starting on Friday, July 24. An official ribbon-cutting event will be planned at a later date to commemorate the re-opening of the park.
