FNBT Raises Money for Caritas
Release date: 7/23/2019
Beloit, WI – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) recently presented a check for $564 to Caritas Community Resource Center as part of the annual Art Walk event in downtown Beloit.
“For the past several years, we’ve hosted artists and craftspeople at our downtown branch during Art Walk,” said Theresa Wendhausen, branding and communications manager for FNBT. “This year, we decided to feature a nonprofit partner as well.” For a suggested donation of $1, patrons visiting the bank during the event could enjoy a beverage and snacks as they shopped. Over $500 was raised with all proceeds donated to Caritas to support their mission of assisting area families in need of clothing, food and other necessities.
Max Dodson, executive director of Caritas, was on hand at FNBT’s Beloit–Grand Ave branch during the evening event to raise awareness of the need within our community and the services that Caritas provides. “I’m very grateful for the generosity of our community members,” said Dodson. “We are lucky to have great partners like First National Bank and Trust, and I thank them for their continued support and partnership.”
