Shawn Murphy Joins FNBT

Beloit, WI – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce that Shawn Murphy has joined the bank’s commercial lending team as Vice President Commercial Loan Officer.
In this role, Murphy will develop new loan business by building strong partnerships and providing Sound Advice. He is responsible for identifying clients’ needs and solutions, evaluating loan applications for approval, and participating in the resolution of outstanding loan closing exceptions.
Murphy is an experienced banking professional with 12 years of experience within commercial lending, loss mitigation, mortgage lending and retail banking. His areas of expertise include manufacturing, industrial companies, and healthcare. He completed his post-bachelor’s coursework through the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). Murphy is looking to utilize his banking and business experience to grow as a leader and trusted advisor.
Murphy is involved in several associations and clubs in the communities he lives and serves, including the Rising Professionals of Beloit. He is a family man who enjoys an active lifestyle through traveling, biking, sailing, golfing and racquet sports. Murphy resides in Delavan, Wisconsin with his wife, Katie, and two daughters.
