FNBT Announces Plans for New Operations Center
Release date: 12/7/2017
Beloit, Wisconsin – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce plans to build out a new Operations Center in downtown Beloit, WI. The new facility will be located across the river from the Beloit-Grand Ave office, at 525 Third Street, Suite 300, in the IronWorks campus.
First National Bank and Trust CEO, Steve Eldred, a lifelong Beloiter and fourth generation of his family to run the bank says, “as a result of the bank's recent growth, we have effectively run out of space. We have grown significantly in the past few years and as such, we must expand our workforce and space to accommodate our customer’s needs and to continue to provide Sound Advice.”
The project will make room for more than 100 work stations for corporate services and allow for increased efficiency of our back-office operations. According to Eldred, since 2008, the bank has increased its employee base from 218 to 308, and currently employs 176 people in the Beloit community.
The decision to expand into new space was in part to support future growth, as well as to provide the opportunity to reconfigure work groups to increase efficiency, which FNBT's current space does not allow for.
Planning is underway for the call center, consumer underwriting, deposit and loan operations, and information technology departments to move to the new center in summer 2018. FNBT’s headquarter office and customer-facing branch will remain at its current site at 345 E Grand Avenue. The accounting, human resources and marketing teams will continue to be located in the bank’s corporate services building adjacent to the FNBT Plaza in downtown Beloit.
