Local Bankers Complete National Financial Industry Programs

Beloit, WI – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) pleased to announce that two FNBT employee family members have completed industry educational programs expanding their professional knowledge in their respective fields.
Brittany Strickert, FNBT’s Corporate Data Analyst, has graduated from the American Bankers Association’s (ABA) Data and Analytics School. The two-week program was developed in partnership with Emory University Goizueta Business School and included more than 20 hours in the classroom. Coursework focused on data-driven strategies to apply to a bank’s marketing strategy to encourage a consistently decisive, analytical and agile approach to interpreting data.
Brittany’s role at FNBT positioned her uniquely for the intense curriculum that included operationalizing data strategy, concepts in artificial intelligence, data security and visualization, text analysis, and applying those concepts to improve the customer journey and overall experience.
Lisa Zeimetz, Senior Vice President - Risk Compliance Officer, recently earned a Certificate in Bank Financial Management from the ABA. This certificate is awarded to individuals who complete five-facilitated and self-paced online courses to strengthen knowledge of sound financial management in a bank. These courses help to develop skills for making key decisions that affect bank profitability, by learning how to conduct performance analyses, measure and manage interest rate risk, and manage funding, liquidity and capital.
In her role at FNBT, Lisa manages the administration of compliance and risk management activities and procedures to ensure the bank remains in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. She also chairs the bank’s Risk and Compliance Committee and is responsible for administering the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program.
