Joe Shere Joins FNBT

Beloit, WI – David McCoy, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of First National Bank and Trust (FNBT), is pleased to announce the addition of Joe Shere to the FBNT Commercial Banking team in Janesville.
With nearly 20 years of experience in banking, Joe has an extensive background in residential mortgage lending, retail bank management and commercial banking. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and earned two certifications from the Wisconsin Bankers Association Commercial Lending School. As a Commercial Banking Officer at FNBT, Joe is responsible for managing an existing portfolio of commercial customers, developing new banking and lending relationships, and helping to increase the bank’s visibility in the Janesville market.
Active in the community, he is a board member and a coach for the Janesville Youth Baseball and Softball Association. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys spending his time away from work coaching his kids, camping, and archery hunting. He resides in Janesville with his wife Carrie, their four children and chocolate lab, Nala. Joe will be based at FNBT’s Loan Production Office in downtown Janesville, Wisconsin.
