Jerry Ritzert Joins FNBT as Chief Financial Officer

Beloit, WI – David McCoy, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of First National Bank and Trust Company (FNBT) is pleased to announce that Jerry Ritzert has joined the company as Executive Vice President (EVP) Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In this role, Ritzert will be responsible for the overall financial management of the bank, aligning financial goals and reporting with the bank’s strategic plan, assuring safe and sound risk management practices, leading the bank’s asset-liability committee, identifying process improvements, and communicating financial results to every team member at First National. He joins FNBT with 20 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently serving as CFO of Dollar Bank in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to that, he worked as Corporate Controller for Northwest Bancshares in Warren, Pennsylvania.

A 1993 graduate of Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ritzert earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting. He went on to become a Certified Public Accountant, and later worked as a senior audit manager auditing banks for 10 years. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the Financial Managers Society (FMS).
Ritzert has been involved with various nonprofit organizations in the Pittsburgh area including board member of the Pittsburgh National Aviary and the YMCA in Warren, Pennsylvania, as well as a school board member for St. Joseph Catholic School in Warren. Ritzert is relocating to Roscoe, Illinois with his wife, Laure. He enjoys running, traveling and spending time with his wife and dog, a chocolate lab named Chuck.
As part of FNBT’s executive management team, Ritzert will participate in the overall management of the bank and will be based at the bank’s Operations Center located at 601 Third Street, Suite 300 in Beloit, Wisconsin.
