FNBT Announces Leadership Promotions and Organizational Enhancements

Beloit, WI, April 09, 2025 First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) has announced key leadership promotions and organizational realignments to strengthen its commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence. These strategic changes position FNBT to better meet the evolving financial needs of its customers while enhancing efficiency across all areas of the bank.

Executive Leadership Promotions

  • Chelsea Ballou has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Banking Officer, overseeing all customer-facing functions, including consumer and commercial banking, service delivery, fraud prevention, and marketing. She will focus on fostering an exceptional service experience and ensuring alignment with FNBT’s strategic initiatives.
  • Brian Goeller has been named Executive Vice President, Chief Technology, Innovation, and Operations Officer. He will lead FNBT’s back-office functions, including deposit operations, loan servicing, product management, information technology, and project management, building and delivering the bank’s operations and market facing capabilities.  
 
Senior Leadership Promotions and New Service Model Implementation
As part of its strategic transformation, FNBT has introduced a new service model to enhance the customer experience by ensuring that resources are effectively allocated across different customer segments. The following leaders will play key roles in this initiative:
  • Kyle Lamb has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer, where he will continue to lead the credit services team, while also overseeing mortgage operations, underwriting, and collections.
  • Dave Marshick, Senior Vice President, Director of Commercial Banking, leads FNBT’s commercial banking team, dedicated to supporting business customers with financial solutions that help them grow and succeed.
  • JT Current, Senior Vice President, Director of Consumer Banking, oversees consumer relationship banking and mortgage lending, ensuring a personalized and high-touch experience for FNBT’s consumer customers.
  • Deb Griffith, Senior Vice President, Director of Retail Banking, will oversee branch operations and the customer support team. Her focus will be on providing seamless, convenient service through in-branch, phone, and digital channels.
  • Jennelle Olson, recently promoted to First Vice President, Relationship Banking Manager,will manage a team of relationship bankers throughout FNBT’s markets, serving as the primary point of contact for consumer relationship customers.
  • Theresa Wendhausen, promoted to First Vice President, Director of Marketing & Communications, will lead FNBT’s strategic marketing and communications efforts, driving customer engagement and supporting the bank’s sales initiatives through the new service model.
 
Additional Promotions Supporting Bank Operations
FNBT has also recognized the contributions of several key team members who play a critical role in strengthening the bank’s internal operations and technology initiatives:
  • Mike Montgomery, First Vice President Enterprise Architect, will lead the strategic development of FNBT’s technology framework, ensuring seamless integration of innovative banking solutions.
  • Dale Falconer, Vice President IT Manager, will focus on optimizing IT infrastructure to support FNBT’s technology-driven initiatives.
  • Kristen Jacobsen, Vice President IT Development Team Lead, will oversee the advancement of FNBT’s technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Stacy Matuseski, Vice President Human Resources Manager, will continue to play an important role in talent development and employee engagement, ensuring FNBT remains a great place to work.
