FNBT’s Jarod Schut Earns National Certification

Beloit, WI – The Wealth Management team at First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce that Jarod Schut has earned the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) professional certification from the American Bankers Association (ABA).

Jarod SchutThe CTFA certification is awarded to individuals who demonstrate excellence in the field of wealth management and trust. To qualify for the CTFA certification, individuals must have certain levels of experience and education in the trust profession, pass an exam, and agree to abide by a code of ethics. The CTFA exam covers many areas including fiduciary and trust activities, financial planning, tax law and planning, investment management and ethics.

As Trust and Investment Officer serving the bank’s Walworth and Rock County markets, Schut has more than ten years of banking and investment experience. He is responsible for overseeing and organizing administration of estates and trusts for clients of FNBT’s Wealth Management group. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, Schut received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a double major in finance and economics. In addition to his latest CTFA certification, he holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) certification as well as several investment designations including Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses. Schut also serves as a member of the board of directors of Community Health Systems, Inc. Schut splits his time between FNBT’s Walworth and Beloit-Grand Avenue locations.
