FNBT Announces Promotions & Additions to Commercial Banking Team

Beloit, WI – First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) is pleased to announce three officer promotions and an addition to the FNBT family.

photo of Dave MarshickDave Marshick has been promoted to Senior Vice President (SVP) Commercial Banking Manager. He joined First National Bank and Trust in 2014 and now has over 25 years of experience helping businesses achieve their financial goals. He has developed a reputation for being both a skilled commercial banker and a trusted advisor who takes the time to get to know his clients so that he can provide them with the best possible solutions to suit their unique needs. As a commercial lender, Marshick has helped numerous businesses discover actionable financial solutions that have resulted in improved business models. By working directly with business owners, he is able to provide banking expertise, while finding a creative solution that helps clients achieve their immediate and long-term financial goals.

Marshick earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He volunteers for various nonprofit organizations including Downtown Janesville, Inc. and is the past president for the Downtown Janesville Business Improvement District. In addition, he is the committee chair for the City of Janesville Revolving Loan Fund and a current board member for Forward Janesville, which recognized him as the 2016 Volunteer of the Year.

photo of Kyle LambKyle Lamb has taken on the role of Vice President & Commercial Banking Team Leader in the bank’s Walworth County market. Lamb has nearly 20 years of banking experience in both consumer and commercial banking and joined the FNBT family in 2012. He is a Rockford native and serves the community by volunteering his time to multiple organizations, including Northwest Community Center and Next Rockford. Lamb has an extensive background working with companies in a variety of industries, and specializes in commercial mortgages, equipment financing, working capital lines of credit, SBA loan programs, and strategic planning. Lamb strives to get a full understanding of his clients and their business with a goal of being a dedicated resource and financial partner to help them meet their objectives.

photo of Stephanie LawtonStephanie Lawton has been promoted to Vice President Small Business Portfolio Manager. Lawton joined the FNBT family in 2018 with ten years of banking experience in commercial banking. In her role, she partners with the bank's branch managers to provide Sound Advice, meet the lending needs of small businesses in our communities, and underwrite small business loan requests. An avid learner, Lawton is working toward a master's degree in business administration and has completed several industry courses and seminars throughout her career. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, as well as a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Lawton is FNBT’s Ambassador for Forward Janesville, Inc. and a member of its Action Team. In addition, she has partnered with the YWCA in 2019 to teach several sessions for women entrepreneurs, the newest session focused on being Money Smart during Money Smart Week in April.

Scott Bordwell has joined the FNBT family as SVP Commercial Banking Manager. Bordwell comes to FNBT with more than 30 years of business banking and commercial lending experience. Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a degree in finance. Active in the community, Scott is on the board of the United Way Blackhawk Region, the Exchange Family Resource Center, and is a founding member of Chasing Chad, a non-profit organization created in memory of his brother to raise funds for brain tumor research and local patient support. He has also been involved with Forward Janesville, Janesville Area Crimestoppers, the City of Janesville's Police & Fire Commission and Alcohol Licensing Committee, as well as the University of Wisconsin Rock County Foundation, and South Central Wisconsin Builders Association.
